This article was originally published in the 1984 issue of Hi-Lites, the agency’s newsletter. It’s a powerful story with a meaningful message. It describes how “a small group of ‘old boys’ met to transform an old idea into a new reality” by forming the original “Association of Former Residents of St. Francis.” More than 20 years ago, these alumni took the initiative to create an association where they could stay connected, show their support, and become more involved with the work being done for the children of Saint Francis. Today, the Saint Francis Alumni and Friends Association embodies the spirit upon which the original Association was built |
