Awards

The Alumni and Friends Association would like to recognize and spotlight the achievements of our extraordinary alumni, staff, donors, and friends.

Honor Member Award

For a resident in one of the original Saint Francis Homes, becoming an “honor member” was a proud accomplishment.  An “honor member” represented a boy who showed self-discipline, great personal responsibility, and growth as he stretched his wings and gained independence as a member of the Home. 

In tribute to the residents of the early Homes who earned this recognition, The Saint Francis Alumni and Friends Association has established the Honor Member Award.

This award will be given annually to an active member of The Saint Francis Alumni and Friends Association who has shown great strength and perseverance in his/her daily life.  The recipient will be one who is a positive role model for others and has contributed to the mission of healing troubled youths and families by carrying out the principles of “Therapy in Christ.”

Chapters

Know of several alumni and Association members of Saint Francis within your area?  If so, start an alumni chapter today!  The goals and activities of an alumni chapter can maintain a shared commitment to the mission of the association while developing unique goals and activities based on their members’ interests, geographical location, and involvement.  Contact the Alumni Office for more details on how to get started.

Homecomings, Reunions, and Other Special Events

As membership grows, one of our long-term goals is to develop events that will foster fellowship among the alumni and friends of Saint Francis.  We would like to hear your thoughts and ideas about which events and programs would be of interest?  Or, let us know if you would like to volunteer with organizing an event!
