Stepping Stones for Tomorrow” webpage. Here you’ll
find a wealth of information about our proposed new Psychiatric Residential
Treatment Facility (PRTF) at Saint Francis Community Services.
Confident in God’s grace and continued blessing, the Saint Francis Board of
Directors has approved the launch of a capital campaign to build a new PRTF. The
new building will be built on the campus -- just outside of Salina, Kansas --
where our current facility is located.
Just as Fr. Robert “Bob” Mize ventured in faith to buy our first building (now
close to 100 years old), we are moving forward committed to making a difference
in the lives of children and youths with severe emotional and behavioral needs.
I ask you to join us in this exciting new project to help provide for the
children that God has given into our care. They deserve the best facility that
we can build for the help that they so desperately need.
Our capital campaign is called “
Stepping Stones for Tomorrow” and it will allow
Saint Francis to serve an expanding population of boys and girls with severe
emotional and behavioral disorders. The new building will allow us to provide
care and treatment to children ages 6 to 18 in a new, therapeutically designed,
light-filled facility, with a home-like environment.

When you were among us incarnate, you took little children in your arms and blessed them. And throughout the ages you
have called us through prophets and your Son, our Savior, to care for those in need.
We ask your guidance as we seek to build a new residential center for those children who need the healing that only
your love can give, and which can be best accomplished in an environment of security, light, safety, and hope.
Help us to accomplish this dream to your glory and the welfare of your people.
